Tina Brueckner is the Senior Engineering Manager for the Engineering Development for Energy Systems Group’s Federal Business Unit. As Senior Engineering Manager she oversees the team that provides schematic and detailed design submittals, scopes of work and measured and verified savings for the technical solutions on performance contracts.  Tina is the Subcommittee Chair for Guideline 42. She has a BS Electrical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering and is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED Accredited Professional.
Dr. Elliott Horner, Lead Scientist at UL Solutions has worked in the IAQ field for over 30 years, conducting research and field investigations, providing training, disaster response and litigation support and was director of an IAQ laboratory.  He is a recognized expert on fungal allergens and the impact of moisture in buildings, and has published over 50 research papers and book chapters.  Dr. Horner was also along for the full Guideline 42 marathon.
Don Weekes has over forty-eight (48) years of comprehensive consultation expertise and project experience in the implementation and management of inspections for hazardous materials in numerous buildings throughout Canada and the United States. During the course of Mr. Weekes’ career, he has served in numerous senior management positions in both the consulting and insurance industries. As a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Mr. Weekes has served as an environmental health and safety professional for various international corporations.

Jon Isaacson, The Intentional Restorer, is an author and host of The DYOJO Podcast. Jon speaks, writes, and coaches through his organization The DYOJO helping the start-up phase owners and growth-minded restoration professionals to shorten their DANG learning curve for personal and professional development. For over two decades Jon has been working in leadership roles with organizations in the construction, hazards abatement, and property restoration industries. Jon recently published two books, Be Intentional: Estimating addressing mindset and habits for insurance claims estimating and Be Intentional: Culture which is a collaborative work discussing how small things enhance or undermine your efforts to build a strong workplace culture.
Pete Consigli is a Restoration Industry Association (RIA) Certified Restorer (CR) and Water Loss Specialist (WLS) and has been a member of the Restoration Industry Association since 1977. Over the years he has been an active volunteer and filled various association leadership roles. Pete is RIA’s “Resident” Historian and an archival resource to the industry. In 2008, Pete received RIA’s most prestigious honor for excellence in restoration, the Martin L. King award. In 2012 RIA made Pete the second honorary member to its association, only the third such honor in RIA’s 75 years.
When Cliff Zlotnik entered the field of insurance repair in 1974 the industry was embryonic. Cliff is inquisitive, creative with a talent for problem solving. Cliff learned the business of insurance repair by doing it. Using his disaster repair business as a laboratory, he developed methods, procedures, and products to successfully accomplish tasks which were previously undoable. Cliff ’s techniques in cleaning, odor removal and procedures have become industry standard practices and relied upon globally. Through his articles, presentations, training programs and IAQradio+ broadcasts and Zman Blogs, Cliff has shared his knowledge and expertise with thousands of insurance damage repair contractors and stakeholders in the Property Restoration Industry. Cliff Zlotnik is universally known as one of the Restoration Industry’s 4 Founding Fathers, a trailblazer and is a pioneer and living legend in the fi eld of insurance damage repair and odor control methodologies.

This week we welcome Lisa Rogers, Jeremy Beagle, Eric Shapiro and Sarah Fanger. A lot is happening with the Indoor Air Quality Association and its time for an update. Joining us this week will be the President, 1st VP, Treasurer and Executive Director to fill us in. What is the current status of the organization? What are the plans for the associations education initiatives? What will happen with the chapters? How are plans for the convention in March coming along? The group joins us from Pete Consigli’s Winter Break 2024 event in Bonita Springs, FL.
Lisa Rogers has served as President of Mycometer Inc. the US subsidiary of a Danish based firm since 2007. She is the current President of the Indoor Air Quality Association and has served on numerous prestigious committees including as an invited participant on a NATO Science Advisory Committee developing international guidelines for indoor air quality issues.
Jeremy Beagle, CIH is Senior Principal Scientist at SDII Global Inc. He has been performing causation assessments and expert witness testimony pertaining to water damage, fungal growth, and other indoor environmental concerns in the built environment for almost 20 years. Mr. Beagle is a Board-Certified Industrial Hygienist, a Council Certified Moisture Control Consultant and Council Certified Microbial Consultant. He is the current First Vice President of the Indoor Air Quality Association.
Eric Shapiro, CIEC, CMC, CMRS has over 28 years of experience in the field of Mold and IAQ. He started out as an air-duct cleaner, which led to mold remediation and assessment projects. Eric currently runs his company, Indoor Air Quality Services, which is based in Florida and IAQS NJ, which is based in NJ. He is the current treasurer of IAQA.
Sarah Fanger worked in non-profit associations as a meeting and event planner for over a decade, and earned the Certified Association Executive designation. In 2009 she pivoted into disaster restoration, opening and running her own independent business. In 2017 she shifted paths moving into a consulting and testing role, where she specialized in investigations for mold, moisture, and other indoor environmental hazards. Sarah is the current Executive Director of IAQA.

Angela Bajramaj is an attorney, licensed contractor, and a passionate advocate for restorers. Prior to joining Ed Cross as his law partner in May of 2023, Angela served as Corporate Counsel for Belfor Property Restoration for eight years, where she oversaw U.S. collections, managed dispute resolution, and designed and implemented solutions to regulatory issues. Following Hurricane Ian, Angela served with Belfor’s first response team, which helped further foster a deep understanding of the unique and profound challenges that restoration contractorsface.
Angela is a graduate of Wayne State University of Law School with a Juris Doctorate Degree, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from University of Wisconsin – Madison. She is one of the few female lawyers in the United States who holds a Residential Builder License. Prior to becoming an attorney, Angela worked in the construction industry in her family’s contracting business for almost 20 years.
Angela brings years of restoration and collections experience to the Law Offices of Edward H. Cross, and her addition enhances the firm’s capacity to advocate for Michigan restorers and provide specialized legal support for restoration-specific issues in other states. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Angela is dedicated to her community, actively participating in creative fundraising activities for local charities.
